As the sun prepares to rise on a brand-new day, the founding quartet of friends will gather at the starting line of the upcoming Quick as Thieves 10km event. Each unique in their own right, these characters are bound by their mutual love for thrill and a daunting challenge. This will be the tale of their riveting journey, filled with determination, camaraderie, and a dash of friendly rivalry.

Allow me to introduce you to our audacious adventurers!

First up is Lachlan, the Director of ONEstage. A man as sturdy as the SPD Series power distribution hubs he handles daily, he's the backbone of the team. Known for his strength and stamina, he often quips, "If I can manage an SPD8, a 10k should be a cakewalk!"

Next, we have Kate, Lachlan's partner and a former elite cyclist. Her agility and speed, reminiscent of the nimbleness required to manoeuvre around intricate SSD Series multipin stage boxes, make her a crucial part of the team.

Then there’s Harry, a speedskater and regular at the Sunday Revs boogie. His strategic thinking, much like coordinating complex moves on the tarmac and dancefloor, mirrors the precision of the SPX6 from the Socapex Series. He was the one who rallied the others to join.

Last but not least, we have Mandi, Harry's partner, whom he fell in love with on the dancefloor. Much like the effortless charm required to handle the RPD5 from the Stndrd Series, she brings with her infectious enthusiasm and positive attitude, lifting the team's spirits at every turn.

Their journey to the Quick as Thieves 10km event will be far from easy. From gruelling early morning training runs to exhausting gym sessions, they'll face each hurdle with grit and a sense of shared purpose. They'll draw inspiration from their daily grind, and double lives of Revllers and 09-05s. 

Each friend will bring their unique strength to the team. Lachlan's tenacity, Kate's agility, Harry's strategic thinking, and Mandi's undying positivity will combine to form an unbeatable force. They'll laugh together, train together, and even have a giggle at their own expense - like when Harry's skating moves make an unexpected appearance during a training session.

As the Quick as Thieves 10km event draws nearer, our fearless foursome is more determined than ever. They're not just running for themselves, but to raise funds for local charities. Their journey will be a testament to their spirit, camaraderie, and the power of teamwork.
