We're stepping up to help restore sight!
At Gig Control, we are deeply moved by the plight of the millions of visually-impaired individuals worldwide. It's shocking to think that nearly 43 million people are vision impaired, and even more so when you learn that 90% of these instances are avoidable or treatable.
A straightforward procedure, which costs as little as $25, could potentially restore the vision of these individuals. This simple act could have a profound effect, changing their lives and those of their families and communities forever.
As part of our commitment to making a difference, our team at Gig Control will be taking part in the Quick as Thieves event on Saturday, 11th May 2024. We're proud to be joining forces with Mike Toner for this event, with the aim of supporting the vital work of The Fred Hollows Foundation.
Having worked alongside Toner across events for many years, the team at Gig Control share a vision (pun intended) of equality with the Thick as Thieves team.
The Fred Hollows Foundation is doing incredible work in training local eye health professionals in some of the world's most underprivileged communities.
The funds we raise will help to foster a sustainable healthcare system where it's needed most.
